Dark Hollow CDC Revitalization Program

We are pleased to announce that we are full speed ahead with our revitalization program We have assembled a great team of community members past and present to lead this effort. We currently have a commitment from Habitat for Humanity for new homes.  We also have other developers who have expressed an interest in this work as well. Please be on the lookout for more information about this project

But this is just the beginning.

Our vision is to create a thriving, inclusive community where everyone has the opportunity to live, grow, and succeed. That means new homes, yes — but also renewed hope, opportunity, and connection.

How You Can Get Involved:

  • Volunteer: We’ll soon be announcing opportunities to lend a hand in everything from community cleanups to construction support.
  • Stay Informed: Follow us on social media or our website www.darkhollowcdc.com and keep an eye out for updates, public meeting notices, and project milestones.
  • Spread the Word: Share this announcement with your neighbors, family, and friends. Let’s bring everyone to the table.

We’ll be sharing more details soon, including timelines, community events, and ways to get involved. Your voice and presence matter — this is your community, and together, we’re building something truly special.

Thank you for your continued support. The future of our neighborhood is bright — and it’s just getting started.

Thanks to Michael Williams Sr. and Bishop Larry Johnson for co-chairing this committee.

EDUCATION MATTERS

 New Initiative Coming Soon!
Dark Hollow CDC is proud to announce an exciting new program that will reward and recognize our scholars for their hard work and achievements.

We believe in celebrating our students and encouraging their continued growth—and this initiative is one more way we’re investing in their bright futures.

We’re excited about what this program will mean for our kids and the positive impact it will have on our community. Stay tuned for more details!

Dark Hollow CDC is proud to have partnered with the North Little Rock School District on various events and initiatives. This collaboration has long been a goal of the CDC, and we are thrilled to see it come to fruition. We remain committed to supporting our children’s academic success and mental well-being, ensuring they have every opportunity to thrive both in and out of the classroom. Our young scholars in the community attend Lakewood or North Little Rock 6 Academy of Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences (Seventh Street) Elementary Schools.

If you’re interested in volunteering, sharing ideas, or helping us organize events, please contact Yolanda Anderson at 501-804-0734   Let’s work together to make this school year one to remember!
